1. Turn on your console or PC.
2. Insert the battery into the controller's battery compartment, ensuring the positive and negative poles are correctly aligned. The 4 lights on the HOME button will flash rapidly.
3. Plug the wireless receiver into a USB port on your console or PC. The receiver's green light will flash quickly.
4. Within 3-5 seconds, both the controller and receiver lights will flash, indicating the pairing process. Once paired, the controller and receiver lights will remain solid (for wireless connection) or the receiver light will flash for 10 seconds and then turn off (for wired connection).

Note: If the controller fails to pair automatically, press and hold the Pairing Button on the controller for 2 seconds. The HOME button light will start flashing rapidly, indicating the controller is in pairing mode. Once paired, the controller and receiver lights will remain solid.

It's important to note that a single wireless receiver can only be used for one Xbox 360 controller. If you want to connect multiple controllers to your Xbox 360, you'll need to ensure that there are enough USB ports and connect a separate receiver for each controller.
